Your vision is important as you rely on it mostly for your whole life
Dr. Liwanag has witnessed it all many times before: a patient seeking help from her in distress due to migraines, vertigo, or other symptoms they believe are being caused by their eyes.
It turns out that they were indeed experiencing visual issues. And only if they had discovered earlier could things have avoided becoming much worse. That’s why she constantly advises having an eye test because of this, even if you feel OK.
Why Vision EyeCare Centre exist?
Even as a young college student, Dr. Liwanag had long dreamed of running her own clinic. She fulfilled her dream of opening her own clinic in the Philippines, after earning her license and Doctor of Optometry degree in 1998.
However, she had to start over when she immigrated to Canada fourteen years ago. With great dedication she gained her license to practice optometry in Canada after completing the University of Waterloo's International Optometric Bridging Program. She has been providing help to patients in Ontario Canda ever since obtaining her license. Finally, she realized her dream once again after opening Vision EyeCare Centre.
