Dr. Antoniette Liwanag has over seventeen years of experience in the eye care field. She received her license and Doctor of Optometry degree in 1998 from CEU in Manila Philippines and after only 2 years opened her own clinic there. After migrating to Canada 12 years ago she successfully completed the International Optometric Bridging Program at the University of Waterloo and received her license to practice Optometry in Canada. Since receiving her License she has been helping patients in Keswick, North York, Toronto, East York, and Thornhill before starting her own practice in East York.
Dr. Liwanag is passionate about educating people on their eye health and how to take care of them to have the best possible vision. She strives to stay up-to-date with current theories and technologies and is consistently engaged in continuing education in order to provide the best eye care possible for her patients. Dr. Liwanag welcomes all patients and enjoys the practice of comprehensive Optometry. She has developed keen interests in dry eye management, myopia management and the link between nutrition and eye health.
Ms. Gina Ceniza is the optician of Vision EyeCare Centre. She believes that the “eyes are the windows to the soul”. Here’s why – in life we are asked to stop, see and appreciate what lies within.
In 2011 she migrated to Canada and settled in Toronto. She has a degree in Bachelor of Science in business administration as well as Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the Philippines.
A firm believer in continuing education, she broadens her knowledge in the field of Aesthetics and Opticianry. After completing a certificate program of Medical Aesthetics for Nurses at Centennial College and Diploma in Opticianry at Seneca College she obtained her licensed as Optician.
Gina became passionate in providing her clients with a lens that sees possibilities and beauty beyond sight.
